June Newsletter

Dear Parents and Carers,

As we approach the end of another academic year, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible progress we've made. The dedication and hard work from both children and staff have been truly inspiring. It has been a year filled with growth, achievements, and countless memorable moments. I am immensely proud of our children and how far they have come.

Sports Day Success

Earlier this month, we enjoyed a fantastic Sports Day, blessed with perfect weather despite all the forecasts! It was the first time our new school teams—Hawks, Kestrels, Buzzards, and Kites—competed against each other. The event was a massive success, with children showcasing their sportsmanship and cheering each other on.

Open Afternoon

Thank you to everyone who attended our Open Afternoon last week. We experimented with a new format of 'open classrooms,' allowing parents and families to witness first-hand the exciting learning happening across the school. Fox Cubs enjoyed physical activities in the sunshine, while Rabbits constructed model houses as part of their DT unit. Otters engaged in a mix of French games and PSHE activities in the outdoor classroom, and Badgers designed beautiful clay jewellery. Your positive feedback has encouraged us to plan something similar for next year.
