First of all we were really pleased to welcome Lucas from Class One who found all manner of bugs today.  Club members showed him the fruit trees, wormery and compost heap. Everybody took it in turns to mulch the fruit trees, courgette and blackcurrants. We talked about the leaf mould that we were using and some of the detritivores like woodlice that we found in it. All the flowering herbs still have bees on them. Parker then spotted a frog moving towards the car park, which may well mean that we could have frogspawn in the pond in the spring!
