As some members will be off to Welland Park for an open day in a couple of weeks, we only have 2 sessions in which to get everything ready for our nature club stall at the Foxton Fun Day on Saturday June 22nd. We are very excited to be making items to sell using this year’s plants and herbs and last year’s lavender. Hopefully, their persuasive writing skills will also be put to the test when they design the poster advertising their products. The herb bed is looking at its absolute best at the moment and again we are allowing them to go to seed and flower in order to help feed all our wonderful pollinators. We have gathered pressed flowers and will be making bookmarks, scented lavender bags and a selection of herbs for cooking or drying. So please do come and pay us a visit.
